My Success Story

May 11th, 2010

Until recently, I did not believe that anyone could treat hemmroids in a completely painless and cheap way and without being subjected to embarrassing doctor visits.
All my friends who over the years have had to cope with haemorrhoids have chosen surgery, because the alternative open them was to keep the pain and see blood running whenever they went into the bathroom.
I got my first problem with hemorrhoids when I was about 30 years old and I was working as a truck driver. Sitting for hours I had often excruciating pain that sometimes made me risk losing control of my vehicle.
Not having the courage to pass a visit  I went on for over 3 years and my problem had become a nightmare. I feel ashamed even to talk with my friends and my girlfriend.
I became so nervous that often had disagreements with my boss and when my company in 2005 has reduced the gains, I was the first to be fired.
In despair I started to drink a little too much. Unfortunately Alcohol is one of the factors that worsen the pain of hemmroids and in fact it increased and one day after seeing the bathroom a huge amount of blood I was really scared and I got the courage to go to my doctor. Despite the huge embarrassment at last I felt helped by someone. My doctor told me that I had to stop drinking, I had to lose weight and that I should first of all treat constipation, which is the major cause of  hemmroids.
He told me also that my hemroids were too big and they could only be cured by surgery.
In desperation I opted for the ligation of hemorrhoids, which however I do not recommend it to anyone.
In fact a few months later my hemmroids again began to sprout with itching and pain. You can imagine my disappointment and despair for everything. Talking with friends and other people like me who had gone under the knife I found that surgical interventions are never decisive, and almost everyone had already tried again the typical discomfort of hemorrhoids.

Finally I met a woman who had chronic severe hemmroids and who created the actual best method to cure hemmroids.

I tried her several valuable treatments and I found wich worked best for me.

I get rid of the pain and itch in less than a week, so today I am free of that ambarassing problem and  Also my high blood pressure has improved.

Sex hemorrhoids

Sex Hemorrhoids and gay

Gays may have a high incidence of onset of hemorrhoids. To have anal sex frequently in fact does not cause hemorrhoids but it may aggravate an already present hemorrhoidal disease or may facilitate the onset of  hemmroids due to the stimulus of repeated local irritation on that area .

As pregnancy and  constipation, anal sex may therefore be, for  gays and for heterosexuals, a contributory cause for the onset of sex hemorrhoids.

It ‘so important to practice adequate lubrication, shrewdness that certainly limits the formation of inflammation.
What to do in case hemorrhoidal disease?

It depends on the degree of classification of hemorrhoids:

If the hemmroids are first degree, you may have anal intercourse with an adequate lubrication.
In case of hemorrhoids of second grade it would be better to refrain from anal intercourse, at least in the acute phases of illness. The intercourse may in fact become very painful and also cause a worsening of the disease and symptoms.

Hemmroids and Pregnacy

December 28th, 2009

Pregnancy involves a range of common ailments that sometimes are also “difficult” to accept, such as hemorrhoids. Burning, difficult movements and nervousness are all consequences of this discomfort that tends to accentuate during pregnancy.

The occurrence of hemmroids is derived from the changes that women undergo during pregnancy and, at times, may be hereditary or constitutional, so if someone in the family already suffers may be more susceptible.

The most common factors that determine the occurrence of hemmroids:

- The level of progesterone, especially in the first and second trimester of pregnancy, plays a ‘relaxing effect on the tissues and muscles that, in view of confinement, they begin to dilate. The expansion also includes the shares, causing a stagnation of venous blood in blood vessels, also accentuated by the increased amount of blood in the circulation.

- Constipation, which stimulates the onset of hemorrhoids which have a bearing on the difficulty to have a regular bowel.

The situation worsens in parallel with the increasing weight of the belly: the uterus tends to swell and the fetus exerts pressure on it. This prevents the regular circulation of blood to the abdomen and lower abdomen: the inferior vena cava can not be traced easily, causing the stagnation of the blood itself in the hemorrhoidal plexus.

In general, the situation tends to stabilize after childbirth when the pressure of the fetal uterus disappears, but in pathological cases of hemorrhoids, with the birth of the child, the situation may even worsen because of the effort exerted during the pressure of birth.

How to control and prevent hemorrhoids

- Healthy Eating: if you suffer from constipation is recommended a diet rich in fiber to facilitate intestinal transit;

- Drink plenty of water. Intake of fiber is recommended in conjunction with taking a lot of water stimulates more activity of the intestine. On average should be drunk at least 10 glasses;

- Anus Hygiene : it is good to remove any residue of feces every time you go to the bathroom;

- Physical activity  to prevent hemorrhoids and is needed  for those engaged in sedentary work;

- Avoid too tight clothes like trousers too tight, which promote irritation.

On average hemorrhoids tend to disappear about 40 days after birth, when progesterone levels decrease.

Homeopathy for Hemmroids

In many cases, these remedies from homeopathic medicine can be of help:

Aesculus hippocastanum: If the color is purple, proceeding with itching and a feeling of fullness in the rectum, burning pain is present, there are little bleeding and are associated with constipation with hard stools that pass with difficulty.

Aloe: If dark blue, proceeding with a sense of anus relaxed, there are violent itching and burning pain, improved by cold water, are associated with diarrhea, ointments aggravate the itching.

Arnica: If purple, with hints of thrombophlebitis blunt and sharp pain that improves with local bleeding and worsens with heat.

Collinsonia: If pregnant, bleeding easily, with prolapse of the rectum, back-pain alternating constipation and diarrhea, bulky stools difficult to expel.

Fluoric Acid: if with intense anal itching, improved by cold and aggravated by heat. Are associated with anal fissures and fistulas.

Graphites: If painful and itchy, not proceeding, with fissures and yellowish secretion, are not associated with rectal tenesmus, but only chronic constipation without stimulus.

Muriatic Acid: If the color purple bluish dark, puffy and swollen, protruding in clusters, with a tendency to phlebitis, painful and burning at the slightest touch, are frequent in children.

Nitric Acid: If with fissures deep red, easily bleeding hemmroids, especially after defecation, with stinging pain that persists after defecation and anal tightness, the pain worsens after the bleeding.

These are the most common ways:

Aggravated at night: Aescullus and Sulphur;

Exacerbated by beer: Aloe and Sulphur;

Improved by heat: Arsenicum, Muriatic Acid;

Improved by walking: Ignatia;

Worse after defecation: Aesculus, Graphites, Muriatic Acid, Paeonia;

Harsh: Causticum;

Emitting gas: Baryta Carbonica, Phosphorus;

Aggravated by milk: Sepia;

After a long mental stress: Causticum.

Are useful low dilutions frequently repeated throughout the day.

Causes of Hemmroids:
Hemorhoids are very common especially during pregnancy and after childbirth.
Some individuals have a congenital weakness of the veins of the anus that predisposes them to developing more piles that are caused by increased pressure in the anal veins, usually resulting in efforts to expel hard stools.
The modern diet, too rich in highly refined foods, does not provide an adequate amount of fiber and waste to produce normal stools.

Diagnosis and treatment:
Typically, to exclude the presence of cancer, rectal examination is performed with an optical probe (see proctoscopy).

It is also considered the extent of bleeding and the anger. You can also make digital exploration to earn sphincter tone and exclude other diseases (eg. Cancer of the rectum).

The milder cases of  hemeroids may be controlled by drinking a lot, following a high fiber diet and taking regular bowel habits.
The swelling and pain can be alleviated by suppositories and creams and local anesthetics.
Internal hemorroids can be eliminated during proctoscopy being performed as outpatients.
If hemorrhoids are very swollen around the end of each vein can be placed small elastic tight that after some days make them dry.
Or to stop venous dilatation may be used Cryosurgery.
In case of prolapse of hemroids it must be performed a hemorrhoidectomy.

Types of surgery:

* Excision under local anesthesia;
* Rubber band ligation is a procedure in which the hemorrhoid is tied off at its base with rubber bands, cutting off the blood flow to the hemorrhoid. Then the homorroid falls after two or three days,
* Sclerosing treatment for hemmroids 1st and 2nd grade, recommended for 3rd grade because the sclerosing substances can flow to the liver,
* Cryosurgery (Krio = cold), covered with low temperatures. It is used a device that uses nitrous oxide or other gases. It exploits the principle of their expandability and, through a probe, you work in a precise area, where the temperature is lowered to about -130 ° F. Is sometimes used instead of traditional surgery, laser surgery and diathermocoagulation.

What are Hemmroids?

November 30th, 2009

You’ll certainly heard of, even if it is a subject that embarrasses a lot, like everything about the anus, rectum and genital organs.
I started searching information about hemroids as soon as I began to suffer from this disease,  I bought books on medicine and I  searched on the Internet.
Hemoroids are dilated veins located in the skin lining the anus and may be located near the beginning of the anal canal (internal hemmroid) or near the anal opening (external hemmroid). Sometimes hemroids protrude outside the anus and are called “Prolapsed haemorrhoid”.

Anatomical classification:
* 1 st degree: vascular ectasia of the anal canal (bleeding or not),
* 2nd grade: prolapsed (out) only with defecation, tend to fall spontaneously
* 3rd grade: prolapsed evacuating, but you can bring within yourself,
* 4th grade: prolapsed hemorrhoids. Are permanently external and often thrombosed (with clots).

In the case of those of grade 3 or 4 , the bleeding of the prolapsed  mucosal can be such as to cause the patient to use the diaper. This problem may generate sideropenic microcytic anemia. In other words, a lack of iron (serum iron) and red blood cells smaller.

There may be some large hemmroids that do not create problems, and small hemorrhoids that should be banned because they can produce complications.

Internal Hemmroids

Internal Hemorrhoids

Symptoms

The first symptom is a bright red rectal bleeding not mixed with feces and without pain. Then  a prolapse occurs (output) only with defecation, but the hemmorroids go back inside spontaneously.

Even a persistent anal itching may indicate hemorroids, but there are other reasons, including a strong parasitosis, a not perfect cleaning of the anus (due to edema around the anus), and losses due to a troublesome increased production of mucus.

The pain occurs only when the prolapsed hemorrhoids have inflammation and edema, or when there is a painful lesion, eg. a fissure.

Prolapsed hemmorroids may form blood clots (thrombi), in this case may be the spontaneous rupture of the vein and the release of thrombi. In that condition the more painful the more blood is plentiful.
